The July 5 acquittal of the mother accused of murdering her daughter captured more media attention than any court verdict in the past four years, according to new analysis from the Pew Research Center. Seventeen percent of news coverage that day was consumed with the shock and anger that followed the jury’s not-guilty decision for Anthony. The next most-covered verdict?
