A recent survey of Jumptap’s ad network collected the tap-through rates for mobile ads across all major platforms from over 83 million unique visitors. In its monthly STAT report for June, Jumptap released the data for each state. The numbers do not directly represent platform sales in each state, but they do suggest that there are more Android users in the South and more iOS users in the North.
In seven states, BlackBerry users clicked on ads more than iOS and Android users. And those who own a Sony Ericsson handset had the highest click-through rate among Android users.
