One of Diane von Furstenberg’s famous qualities (aside from championing women) is her ability to command respect among an impressive range of veteran colleagues: Valentino and Oscar de la Renta both sat in her front row, along with the Vogue trinity of Anna Wintour, Anna Dello Russo and Carine Roitfeld (even if the latter is only formerly). Oh, and the clothes? The first several looks were all white (everyone’s doing it!), then came DVF’s famed patterns and classic casual-professional looks. Wrap dresses may be her métier, but let’s revel in the suited pairings of next season.
